Welcome to our daily blog where we will give updates on Project Thailand! We are very grateful to all the people who have supported us to this point and we can’t wait to share our experience with you all
Today CJ Masterson arrived at 8am at Phuket International Airport and took the airport bus to come to where I am staying in Phuket Town. We enjoyed a nice breakfast and headed to the Makkro store, where we shopped for school supplies for the kids. At Makkro, they sell anything you need in bulks so we bought school supplies for every single one of the students at the Ban Klong Sai School (notebooks, pencils, erasers, rulers and other necessities they are lacking!). After shopping, we headed back to where we are staying in the city and headed to the gym to get our bodies moving. After the gym we met with Arnee, a local teacher and social worker who has been helping us with the logistics of the project. CJ was able to meet Arnee for the first time and we were able to discuss the next steps moving forward. We had a pleasant hour and a half meeting and got everything ready for tomorrow, when CJ and I head north to the village where we will be staying. Tomorrow morning we are heading to the bus station where we will head north on our journey to the village and finally start our soon to be life changing project
